Your “New Kitchen for Christmas Countdown Plan”

We know we know – the kids haven’t even gone back to school yet and we’re optimistically still nurturing some hope for an Indian summer and just a bit of sunshine before autumn kicks in but don’t say you haven’t noticed the days getting shorter and you know that it always flies to “the C word” once summer’s over. I bet you’ve even been thinking about where you’ll spend Christmas Day this year, haven’t you – go on admit it!

We always find that we get really busy with people wanting a new kitchen in for Christmas in October/November so we’re getting organised and planning ahead. But it can be a rush because there is a whole process you need to go through in order to get your ideal kitchen in for a very fixed deadline. We don’t want that and you definitely don’t want that.

October

• Work with us to tweak your kitchen design
• Firm up costs and budget
• Arrange for any building work to be completed
• Choose all your detailing including taps, worktops, tiles, flooring etc

November

• Rip out the old kitchen
• Have your new kitchen fitted
• Complete any additional decorating
• Procure any new accessories and ‘dressings’ to go in your new kitchen
• Complete any snagging that comes with a new installation of this scale

December

• Enjoy cooking in your new kitchen
• Become familiar with new appliances and new layout of your kitchen
• Relax all the way until Christmas!
