3Style Kitchens Blog

Calling Wakefield Food Businesses!

POSTED ON 21st January 2014

We want your food news!

We’ve now been posting the 3Style Foodie Blog every month since March last year and we like to keep a very local focus in reflection of our Wakefield District customer base. We’ve always tried to support local food businesses, whether that be local food events such as the Wakefield Festival of Food, Drink and Rhubarb, Wood Street Market or the Pumpkin Festival at Farmer Copleys or reviews of local restaurants but we think we may be missing out on some great food news that we could be sharing simply because we don’t know about it.

Because of that we’re now appealing for Wakefield food businesses to send us their news each month so that we can feature it on the blog. This could be food festivals, special offers, new menus launched or news of new producers or retailers. It could be on a grand scale or very small, the only criteria being that it should be of interest to our food loving readers and be locally based. There’s no charge of any kind for featuring news on the blog though any submission is subject to editorial control and only news that is relevant to the readers will be included.

About the Foodie Blog

Because of the nature of our kitchens (mid-range to premium bespoke kitchens), many of our customers are ‘foodies’ – keen cooks and interested in sourcing good food and eating out. We started the monthly Foodie Blog in March 2013 to provide relevant and interesting content to our customers and potential customers. We write about seasonal food, share recipes and promote local food providers. Because we are a Wakefield company and most of our customers are based in and around the District we like to keep a very local feel to the blog plus we want to support other local independent businesses.

By sending us your news we can feature your business on the blog which is great publicity for your business and it gives us great content to share with our readers. We are particularly keen to hear from event organisers, restaurants/cafes/bars and food producers and retailers; the more local the better!

Businesses interested in sharing their news should send their items to resident blogger, Sarah Ainslie at sarah@3stylekitchens.co.uk by the 3rd week of each month for inclusion in the regular blog posted on the 1st of the month.

You can read all blog posts here or catch up on the latest posts from  January and December.

News from the blog is also shared on our Facebook and Twitter pages.
